Homer's annual Winter King Salmon tournament was a history-making event this year as Shana Perry of Eagle River, AK became the first woman to win in the tournament's 26 years. And what a champion she was. This was he most fun I've had taking photos of an event since I retired from the newspaper 10 years ago. She was very expressive: what a hoot! Comments are closed.
